Our journey started with a simple frustration: why is it so hard to find products that are effective, eco-responsible, beautifully designed, and affordable?
Take shampoo, for example. The endless choices - thin hair, extra thin hair, blonde, curly, before or after a holiday - can make even the simplest purchase overwhelming. We realised it doesn’t have to be this complicated.
Our goal is to deliver essentials that do what they promise, are kind to the planet, and come without the hefty price tag.

Meet Margaux — co-founder and haircare innovator. Raised in her mother’s salon in the north of France, Margaux grew up with scissors in hand and a passion for beauty. Her journey took her across the globe, exploring hair textures and techniques before launching two natural salons in London with Vincent. Known for her inclusive approach and obsession with results, Margaux has spent years perfecting products that nourish every hair type—simple, effective, and beautifully crafted.

Vincent

Meet Vincent — a corporate strategist turned haircare founder. After years leading international growth and co-running two award-winning London salons, he’s now blending business smarts with beauty expertise. Known for building a salon brand with 4.9-star reviews, Vincent understands exactly what clients want: products that work, without the fuss. The Essentialist is his vision of haircare made simple, effective, and beautifully essential.

Icham

Meet Icham — operations expert and strategic driver. Originally from France, Icham moved to London in 2014 and quickly carved out a path in global operations. With a sharp eye for finding the best ingredients, factories, process and a passion for growth, he’s led international teams and scaled complex projects across industries. A lifelong sports fanatic, Icham brings the same energy, focus, and team spirit to business as he does to a game.
